The average Californian uses about 192 gallons per day. What can we do to help?
- Ultra Low Flow Toilets (UlLFTs) and High efficiency Toilets (HETs). Save approximately 38-45 gallons a day. This is the largest water user.
- Energy Star washers use 35-50% less water and 50% less energy per load. This is second largest user.
- Install a low-flow showerhead. Save 12.5 gallons every day
